(the following was written many days later, at the 30th of September; I was already back home, but still enjoying some crazy commutes.)

I woke up early, but left Koper a little later than what I'd envisioned. The sun rose around 7AM — a great time to cycle! — but only a couple hours later was in on the road. The way was very straightforward: there was a nice bike lane until the Italian border; and if I may generally add, Slovene roads were very tolerant to cyclists, with abundant bike lanes.
