I felt very understood when I came across the concept of tsundoku:

Tsundoku refers to the phenomenon of acquiring reading materials but letting them pile up in one's home without reading them. It is also used to refer to books ready for reading later when they are on a bookshelf. The term originated in the Meiji era as Japanese slang.

from Wikipedia

I recognize Tsundoku in my life, and wherever I go and settle, there's a tendency for books to naturally appear.
