I know Matt Haig from some other (not particularly striking) writings; but the Danish translation for The Impossible Life seemed a great opportunity at a bilingual tackling of something I knew ought not to have very complicated language or ideas.

So what I do is open the english version on the Kobo, and I lay the e-reader atop the Danish book, and I have a paper on the side; whenever an unknown — and arguably important — word comes along, I note it down; I do the same for what could be idiomatic or not directly translated expressions.
