gaming

I suppose this all started because I read that cozy video games can quell stress and anxiety. And it had been in the back of my mind — to keep an eye on an used Nintendo Switch. The game repertoire is quite nice (I'm a big fan of roguelikes, for example, and some indie gaming) — and then it sort of happened.

(there was also the motivation of running Linux on it, but that is something reserved for modded Switches — and it's not a very easy process).

So far, I got Balatro, but also A Short Hike, which I played first; and I think I finished it? But it's so good. Lovely music, really relaxed open-ended exploring game.

A few others to possibly explore:

Spiritfarer
Hindsight
Little Kitty, Big City
Coffee Talk
Lonely Mountains Downhill
Kingdom Come Deliverance: 2
Tiny Glade
Myst
LA Noire
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Tears of the Kingdom
Celeste
Wizard of Legend

One of the things I really enjoy about Denmark is how robust libraries are. Most of these titles are available for loan (although I'm not sure how long do they allow the loans for). It's a great system to try a few of these out!
