tutogarden — I am in need of my own tutoring platform so I can have more control over how I distribute files to students (avoiding services like WeTransfer, e-mail attachments, etc.); plus, it's a nice exercise.

The Shallows — some inquiries into the nature of ADHD led me here. The book explores our relationship with the Internet — in particular, how it might be affecting our brains — but does so via our history with different media and tools. There are interesting thoughts about typewriters, books, television, and more. Most of the highlights I've taken are public, and there's a brief summary of some conclusions.

Gödel, Escher, Bach — this is the sort of book one turns to when in need of great writing that is (heavily) mathematically inclined. But it just so happens to be 800 pages long...and we know how that goes... At the moment, the read is halted!

Portugal: A Revolução Impossível — 25 de Abril is just around the corner and I'd like to, once more, connect with the event and its importance to our collective notion of being Portuguese, and being Portuguese now.

Haskell MOOC — I'm currently taking on this in the context of my functional programming ambitions; I've finished the first part, even though finishing this was definitely a struggle, motivation wise? We'll see.

diffogarden — is also done. Deployments are now much easier and quick, with some space for further improvements (but respect the 80/20 rule, Alex, and move on to something else for now)

How To Design Programs — a fundamental text in Computer Science. I'm particularly looking to round some edges regarding my programming, and be influenced by some good practices.

Carta a D. — a very cozy, earnest book, in the form of a public letter/essay, to D., André Gorz's love.
