The bright pink cover is the reason why I saw the book in the library. Took it home, but I'll blame my own confusion for not giving it a fair shot – I thought, well, that the extinction part meant for humans not to reproduce – and that's a different movement (possibly with overlapping motivations).
So I picked the book up again, a few months later, but this time the motivation was different. I had just come from a sort-of screening of Ghost in the Machine, a recent (2026) documentary on everything encompassing AI; I suppose that warrants its own collection of thoughts, but I did feel myself lacking other perpectives on the matter, ideally outside of the very optimist kind of bubble that I tend to navigate within.
