It has been in my life for a long, long time. It's such a bright, joyous album; the kora is delicate and there's a rich dialogue with the balafon. We hear lots of singing along; it feels communitarian, ecstatic, almost divine.
This is one of my go-to records whenever I want to have beautiful feelings around, and it is also great to escape the western canon.
