I still haven't figured transit. This has been a recent problem — to be on a move, but sanely. Preparations for travel, for being away, still make me a tad anxious.
Train travel is okay. One can read, and stand up, and look out the windows to see the surroundings. It's better than a plane in many ways. But travel is also exhausting, sometimes.
The day after I was still tired; but there were plans for the evening. And so we ate a quick dinner, watching a film — great fun, the film! Human Traffic. Had never seen it before, and it somehow primed us for letting a little loose; to be aware of the nightly dynamics.
But the place was quite relaxed. I felt justified in sitting at a corner and reading; because the book was good, and I was in good company, and it felt like one very appropriate — then I went to get two vodka bottles from the nearest seven eleven.
It was great fun. I like Aarhus; I like Denmark; and I love my friends.
