music records

Music — that's quite a thing, heh? I'm down for pretty much everything. Always very curious.

I haven't yet figured out a way to let visitors in; sometimes I just put all my songs in random mode and listen through, guessing what's playing and wondering about the possibilities of sound. It also happens to associate heavily with specific records, for specific periods of my life, and this is also an attempt at setting that in stone. In any case, an excuse to be equally excited about the Carpenters as I am about Bill Orcutt.

The entries for the records were created via an automation tool; some some don't yet have public notes. There are many reasons I refrain from streaming services, one being their general insensitiveness to the importance of archiving; and so, I am interested in the preservation of, say, cultural artifacts. This is (part of) the manifestation of that.

There's coisas que ouvi em dois mil e vinte e três, and things I listened to in twenty twenty four; then some memories about many days of standing still, and before that, late nights in the apartment in Porto
