now

I like the idea of Derek Sivers' now page (and other related ideas and implementations).

It is an invaluable tool to organize myself and to put past and current goals in perspective. It should reflect how I spend most of my time, and help in figuring out what I'd like to do next.

And I have done other things in the past, too.

🌍 where?

I just arrived in Denmark...and I think I'll be here for a while. 💌 that piece of writing is a bit old — some new words should come soon.

🖥️ coding a lot of things...

Ankigarden is clearly my longest standing project by now and it has been totally revamped. From a valuable prototype I used often, it is now a functional web application (that I haven't yet made totally public — so let's keep that a sort of secret for now! 🤫)

In the meantime, due to my being curious (and getting confident and ambitious), my programming spiralled into many other adjacent projects that somehow all interweave around a common domain I find very interesting...

🗣️ jeg kan allerede forstå lidt dansk! Men jeg vil stadig gerne tale græsk...

It would be wonderful not to lose my progress with the Greek language 🇬🇷 (which is was probably at medium-A2 level); but I'm currently delving into Danish 🇩🇰, and it feels like the latter is overwriting the first in my brain.

Given the intentionality of these processes, a tentative language learning page is sprouting, with some thoughts and resources (Anki, Language Transfer, etc.)

📚 on my bookshelf:

So many things! I have just finished notes on How to Take Smart Notes (yes, meta!) — and I'm intentionally putting more efforts in clearing the backlog of books.

Børnehistorier
Peter Bichsel
The Design of Everyday Things
Donald A. Norman
The Great Mental Models
Shane Parrish
The Importance of Being Educable
Leslie Valiant

🤸 and there's more, but...

...I have been a bit disorganised! I have picked up sketching and drawing, possibly inspired by the incessant curiosity of Richard Feynman; there's an intention to spend less time on the Internet (even though the computer is a very necessary tool!); and I seem to be, well, quite comfortable with where I am at. So that's nice!
